20/04/07 - ‘Affairs in a Tent’ or I should have bought a programme.
The wine that accompanied an excellent pre-show dinner at the Stephen Joseph Theatre mellowed me to such an extent that I only realised towards the end of the play that all six characters were played by Bill Champion and Claudia Elmhirst. The usual Alan Ayckbourn mix of comedy/farce and pathos was a very good start to a weekend in Scarborough.
