16/08/07 - Can it really be the last full day?
I attended the final parts of my chosen workshops and courses and went along to the AGM. The catering staff of the Hayes had made a special effort for the last dinner of the week. The RWG contingent of Audrey, Elizabeth and myself certainly enjoyed it.
The entertainment after dinner was hilarious - particularly Marion Hough’s take on Kenneth William’s Crêpe Suzette and John Lamont’s rendition of Pat Cooksey’s The Sick Note. We sang the Swanwick anthem and Chairman Katy Clarke made very sure that we all knew the correct words to Auld Lang Syne before we were allowed to sing that!
