17/08/07 - Homeward bound

Those of us making an early departure on the coach to Derby railway station got a big send off from the rest.  It was sad, of course, but I think most will be back next year for the Diamond Anniversary of the Writers’ Summer School.

The second stage of my journey home was enlivened by Joanna’s company.  We marvelled at what a small world it is.  Exact contemporaries and both born and brought up in Leeds, we discovered mutual friends, acquaintances and teenage haunts during the two hour drive.
