31/01/12 - The Gentle Art of Feedback

This evening, I led a workshop session on constructive criticism for Ripon Writers Group.

Other committee members submitted fiction, non-fiction and poetry, for the Group to consider.  These pieces were deliberately unpolished and led to some lively discussions.

It is hoped that future Open Manuscript sessions will elicit more than a quiet murmur of appreciation, as this is not really helpful to members planning to submit their work for publication.
